The Company

This business is a leader in the food manufacturing industry with multiple sites around Australia and a large customer base in a flux of growth.

As a result they are seeking an experienced Demand Planner for at their national head office in Melbourne's Inner City suburbs

The Role
Reporting to the S&OP Manager your responsibilities will include;

Maintain bestinclass forecasting accuracy across the region and deliver consistent fill rate levels to all customers
Monitor forecasts for products and promotions and identify trends to assist in improving the S&OP process
Increase collaboration across sales, production and marketing departments to improve visibility and create solutions across demand and supply
Utilise statistical data to justify forecast demand
Lead S&OP meetings across the sites

Your Background
In order to be successful in this role you will ideally be;

At least 35 years experience in a demand planning
Tertiary educated in a relevant area such as Business or Supply Chain & Logistics
Have experience working in a highSKU environment supplying into major retailers
End to end Supply Chain experience within a food environment is highly desirable
Exposure to Microsoft Excel with the ability to interpret data and understand trends
A strong personality who is not afraid to show initiative and drive improvements across business units
