    We offer a hybrid work environment with flexible working hours. To support the significant growth and development of the organisation, we are seeking the expertise and capability of a Revenue Accountant to join us

    Purpose

    As our Revenue Accountant, you will leverage your technical expertise to provide vital support to our accounting team and the revenue function. Your responsibilities will include invoicing, managing cash inflow, ensuring smooth revenue system operations, and collecting and recording payments from clients globally, while fostering positive relationships with our valued clients and stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    • End-to-end accounts receivable - managing the billing process, daily banking, raising of invoices, collections
    • Prepare and reconcile billings
    • Review outstanding debtors and initiating appropriate debt recovery processes
    • Respond to email/phone enquiries - providing necessary information and assistance
    • Maintain direct debits - managing periodic direct debits for payments from debtors
    • Generate reports and aid in the preparation of financial statements
    • Assist with month-end tasks/processes to meet reporting requirements and deadlines
    • Gather and verify invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
    • Liaising with and maintaining relationships with staff, suppliers, customers and external service providers

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and manage client relationships
    • Highly organised and strong time-management skills
    • Accuracy and attention to detail when managing accounting figures and financial records
    • Analytical problem-solver
    • Excellent business and financial acumen with the ability to work in a structured corporate environment
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a high performing team, even under pressure / strict deadlines
    • Motivated self-starter who is proactive and takes initiative
    • Team player with the ability to communicate and coordinate with multiple parties
    • Ability to appropriately handle sensitive information
    • Willingness and ability to proactively communicate with clients to effect timely collection of accounts receivable
