Australian Eggs is a member owned, not for profit company providing marketing and RD&E and industry support services for the Australian egg industry.

By engaging with the community, egg farmers, industry, and government stakeholders, they invest in projects to ensure the long-term sustainability of the egg industry.

Their responsibility is broad with all known Australian egg farmers serviced by Australian Eggs, irrespective of their size, location, or farming system.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity working in a dynamic and energetic environment, and one that relies on your compliance and operational skills.
TheOperations & Compliance Manager plays a key role for this organisation and takes responsibility for the operations and ensures compliance and commercial success, in particular taking full responsibility for the Annual Operations Plan.
You will be responsible for the following key functions:
- In a R&D focused environment, ensure compliance, project outcomes, and operational objectives are achieved
- Work closely with an established CEO to drive strategy, commercials, and operational excellence
- Development of regulatory policies and procedures
- Oversee Australian Eggs Program's team to drive priorities and projects outcomes
- Manage company policies and procedures including risk and all aspects of WHS and contract management
- Prepare regular and annual operational reports including Board reports, compliance reporting and governance
- Provide support to the CEO on human resources and board governance
The Person
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Proven attention to detail with strong analytical, project management and numeracy skills
- Ideally exposure to marketing R&D projects including exposure to extension and adoption
- Previous history working in a compliance and regulated environment, with a strong emphasis on speed of response
- Ability to recognise the value of 'opportunity cost' of activity
- Operational knowledge of CRM & Microsoft programs
- Have exceptional written and oral communications skills
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (Commerce, Economics, Agribusiness)
- Effective soft people management skills to lead a dynamic, passionate, and effective team
- Ability to consistently adapt and remain flexible to achieve an outcome, and therefore an ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines
