The opportunity


We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to join the KPMG Perth Office supporting the Chairman of Partners for Western Australia.

If you are you highly organised, professional and forward thinking with a passion to support a senior executive this role will allow you to demonstrate and develop your exceptional professional skills supporting the different roles that the Chairman operates whilst working in a fast-paced environment.


Working directly for the Chairman and closely with the wider Perth and National Partnership, this role will require you to multi-task and manage competing priorities to provide a high level of support to the Chairman and Perth office.


In this integral role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Provide confidential and efficient secretarial support to the Chairman
  • Planning and coordinating complex scheduling and extensive calendar management using knowledge of key priorities.
  • Managing and arranging both domestic and complex international travel and travel related activities
  • Supporting selected management committees with agendas, scheduling and actions management
  • Liaison with Senior Events Consultant in the organisation of client events and participation at industry events
  • Liaising with Workplace Services in the running of the KPMG Perth office
  • Liaising on office wide initiatives like Corporate Citizenship, Social Committee, and Inclusion & Diversity Committee
  • Management and activation of local sponsorship agreements
  • Executing expenses, timesheets, and invoices on behalf of the Chairman
  • Maintaining strong professional relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders and their EA's.

You're a commercially savvy, friendly, and composed EA who is a born organiser.

You bring passion and energy to the role through a combination of the following skills and experience:

  • 8+ years experience supporting senior executive/s in a fast paced environment
  • Intermediate to high level skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint, with other skills also considered favourably
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across all levels
  • Outstanding organisation skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands, meet deadlines and be calm under pressure.
  • A strong sense of accountability and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes
  • A strong detail orientation and high level of accuracy
  • A proactive approach with a tendency to be a natural problem solver
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
