As a Relationship Credit Manager, you will be responsible for working directly with our customers, Credit Executives and Relationship Managers to complete the broader credit assessment function and ensure an optimal 'well managed' portfolio.
You will also collaborate with the Relationship Manager, product partners and Credit Executives to ensure an effective and value adding strategy for Balance Sheet and Revenue growth across all lending and product sale opportunities is identified for the customer whilst minimising all potential risks to ANZ.
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the Property Investment and Development industry and associated markets and how any changes may impact our client base
Completing analysis of medium to long term prospects of customers in the current economic and competitive context
Working together with the Relationship Manager, complete annual and periodic review of customers' operating and financial performance and identifying cross-sale opportunities
Making prudent credit proposal recommendations which clearly demonstrate the financial impact of credit decisions upon customers and the Bank

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you'll ideally bring the following:
Tertiary qualification preferably in Accounting, Business, Finance or Commerce.
Demonstrable understanding and structuring of Property businesses or Business Banking or Commercial Banking business needs and expectations, with an ability to identify new and cross-sell business opportunities.
Excellent credit/risk assessment skills gained through relevant banking experience with the ability to identify key business drivers and mitigate key risks and provide recommendations based on these across the entities.
Excellent financial analysis skills incorporating a background of sound business lending for either Property businesses or Business Banking or Commercial Banking businesses.
Demonstrated understanding of Middle Market business needs and expectations and abilities to originate new business
Ability to work autonomously and with a team, with proven analytical, negotiation, and problem solving skills.
You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
