We are seeking
Kitchen & Laundry Hand for our
Mornington Home to work on a casual basis

About the role:

As a
Kitchen /Laundry Hand you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, presentation, serving and clean-up of meals to our residents.

You will bring a strong commitment to customer service and food safety.

You will play an important role in committing to working safely within your team and promoting a positive outlook on the wellbeing of our residents.

Key responsibilities:

Assist with monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program
Contribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and staff
Ensure all Kitchen cleaning tasks meet CraigCare standards
Preparation and cleaning in accordance with defined cleaning standards
Understanding residents special dietary requirements
Contribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and staff
Cleaning and sorting of residents' clothing
Understand and execute infection control initiatives
Ensure all cleaning tasks meet CraigCare Standards

About you:

Demonstrated experience in a similar role (medium to large Kitchen)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work as a team player
Flexibility to work varied shifts
Previous experience in Hospitality 'back of house', Kitchen operations
Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards
Sound knowledge of Cleaning Protocols

Essential Requirements:

Current Police check clearance (or willing to obtain)
Proof of Work rights in Australia
Proof of COVID Vaccination certificate (2 doses + booster dose)
Proof of Flu vaccination (current year)
