Introducing the role
Since Peerpoint launched in the Asia Pacific region in 2015, the business has grown significantly to meet client demand. We now manage a panel of over 100 consultants across Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia.

To enable Peerpoint's continued growth in the Asia Pacific market, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team, ideally based in our Advanced Delivery Centre in Perth, to support the Asia Pacific business with consultant onboarding, placement operations, financial management, risk management, commercial negotiations and projects.


  • The Operations Manager has a vital role at the centre of the Peerpoint management team. Globally reporting to Peerpoint's Global Head of Operations, based in London, and regionally reporting to the Heads of Peerpoint for Asia and Australia, this is a dynamic and diverse role, responsible for a wide range of activities and relationships, both internally within the Peerpoint team and the broader Firm and externally with clients and consultants.
    Role and responsibilities

Peerpoint consultant onboarding ("new joiners")

  • Lead on all onboarding activities including initiating and overseeing prehire screens (run by an external agency, Vero) and mandatory training
  • Manage the production and execution of consultant contracts in the consultant onboarding and offboarding phases, including any negotiation of contract terms
  • Maintain relevant new joiner trackers and assist with ad hoc queries

Operational placement support

  • Manage the production and execution of all client and consultant engagement paperwork, including any negotiation of contract terms
  • Coordinate placement logistics for both client and Peerpoint lawyers at the point a new assignment is contracted on for a lawyer and client
  • Liaise with relevant Peerpoint teams and other A&O groups (including HR, Finance, IT Systems, and secretarial groups) to ensure smooth commencement of assignments
  • Manage timesheet systems and payment arrangements, according to the Peerpoint lawyers' engagement terms
  • Advise on regulatory considerations of crossborder or other complex placement arrangements, working with A&O's Risk, Finance, Tax and Legal functions as appropriate

Commercial and financial management

  • Monitor Peerpoint lawyer timesheets, review and check invoices, oversee timely completion of accounts payable and payroll records, record and instruct Payroll and Finance teams on payments and salaries
  • Lead month end preparation, client billing processes, issuance of instructions to the Billing team and follow up on outstanding bills
  • Complete month end close out on Peerpoint systems
  • Maintain invoice, payroll and timesheet trackers and assist with ad hoc queries

  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments impacting the structure of Pe
