About the role
My client is currently seeking an experienced In-House Land Surveyor to join their Brisbane team.

About the client
You will be a key member of their project delivery teams. The work is varied, and you will gain wide exposure to jobs of all shapes and sizes.

They allow you to take pride in your work, work autonomously and as a team, and be mentored and trained by senior construction industry leaders.

What your Responsibilities will be

Perform Physical Site Surveys Using a Variety of Tools and Equipment
Develop sketches, take notes, and gather data electronically.
Interact With Civil Engineers, Landscape Architects, Cartographers, or Urban Planners to Coordinate Field Staff and Process Field Data
Examine the Survey Data's Accuracy, Including the Measurements and Calculations Conducted at the Survey Sites
Calculate the Areas of Land Parcels and Easements Using Computer Software and Mathematics
Get the information required for surveys, and look up previous survey evidence such as maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records.

Create Site Surveying Documents and Inform Clients of Results

Required Qualifications and Skills

Full working rights in Australia
A bachelor's degree in surveying
Years of Experience in a Related Field
AutoCAD/Revit Software Knowledge Preferred Technical Information About Trimble Survey Equipment
Understanding of construction drawings, communication, and interpersonal skills to interact with and report to site management/subcontractors,
Registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland as a Registered Surveyor or higher
