The Client


Our client is one of Australia's leading suppliers of innovative storage solutions committed to delivering high-quality products that optimise space and enhance organisational efficiency.

With a customer base that reads like the who's who of logistics and supply chain.


Due to rapid, continued growth, they are now looking for a dynamic and results-driven National Business Development Manager to launch a top tier product into a growing market vertical.


Reporting to the Head of Sales, the new team member will primarily focus on outlining market strategies, building new business and establishing key partnerships that drive revenue growth of the product within the assigned segment.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and maintain sales prospects of sufficient quality and quantity to achieve sales and contributions budgets.
  • Analyse the market to identify opportunities, trends and challenges within the assigned market vertical.
  • Competitor analysis and tracking market dynamics to inform strategic decisionmaking.
  • Develop a comprehensive business development plan, outlining market entry strategies, target customer profiles and key performance indicators.
  • Set and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Generate and nurture a pipeline of qualified leads, converting them to satisfied customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decisionmakers and influencers
  • Develop a deep understanding of your assigned product and its' features.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, operations and customer support tot ensure seamless coordination and execution of business development strategies.
  • Provide input into marketing campaigns, product position and customer support initiatives.

About you:


You are highly motivated, well-organised and able to build strong relationships with people and enjoy helping clients solve problems with their storage needs.


You have:


A track-record in B2B sales/ business development, ideally in industrial storage, shelving or space (preferred but not essential at commencement - training will be provided) or other industry sector where strong spatial awareness and attention to detail are essential.


  • The ability to consult enthusiastically and efficiently with customers to investigate their current and future needs.
  • At least 3 years sales experience in B2B markets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills, experience using a consultative selling approach.
  • A strong focus on customers needs, delivery on customers expectations and customer satisfaction will be dominant in this role.
  • Highest ethical standards and integrity.
  • Current Australian drivers licence.
  • Solid Microsoft Office ability.
  • An interest in industrial automation and robotic systems would be advantageous but it is not a prerequisite.
