About the role:
Our Lilydale clinic is currently seeking an experienced medical receptionist to join the team.
I-MED is launching a new strategy to be part of the booking team on a rotating roster in a clinic environment.
The role is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday with 7.5 hour shifts between the core hours of 8am to 6pm.
Reporting to the Area Office Supervisor, your role will be split between being patient facing and on the phone taking in-clinic bookings.
The role entails booking in medical imaging procedures, providing general preparation advice and billing information relating to the procedure or clinic the patient will attend.

Your key responsibilities:
- Driving the delivery of highquality reception and contact centre services
- Make appointments for a number of clinics across multiple modalities (e.g. Xray, MRI, Ultrasound)
- Answer patient's general enquiries
- Explain general procedure preparation and billing information
- Providing excellent customer service and patient care
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers
- We will set you up to succeed with a paid training period of 2 weeks classroom learning, and a further 4 weeks sidebyside support, monitoring and ongoing coaching.
Due to training requirements and on the job support, and to ensure you have enough contact time to master your role, we prefer that you have no planned extended leave for the first 3 months in the role.
