About the role:

We are currently looking for qualified Electrical Tradespeople to join our Metropolitan Mine.

Our Metropolitan mine is an underground coal mining operation located 30 kilometers north of Wollongong in Helensburgh, NSW producing metallurgical coking coal for export and domestic customers.

You will use your trade experience to perform maintenance activities in a team environment whilst ensuring production targets are met safely and efficiently.

Your day to day duties will include performing planned and breakdown maintenance tasks on all underground equipment, as well as operating equipment when required.

As an experienced tradesman you will ensure all work is performed to trade standards and meets high expectation. You will be able to complete accurate results of each task and complete work planning sheets and work orders.

Relevant underground competencies and abilities
Experience working in the Electrical Trade
Commitment to high performance standards
Be an effective team player
A strong safety and risk management focus
