- Lead and engage with divisional teams to formulate comprehensive financial plans, covering budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Execute month-end accounting and reporting processes, update and oversee key operational drivers, ensuring accurate reconciliation.
- Take the lead in consistently monitoring financial performance throughout the month, proactively identifying opportunities for optimisation and growth.
- Effectively communicate financial insights and recommendations to Senior Management. Collaborate with team leaders and departments to ensure financial alignment with overall organisational objectives.
- Provide guidance on appropriate accounting treatments for expenses, capital expenditures, and revenue.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
- Leadership experience, emphasising team development and a customer-centric mindset.
- In-depth knowledge of industry and trends, with a forward-thinking approach to finance.
- Exceptional financial acumen with a track record of shaping strategic business partnering.
- Relevant tertiary qualification and membership of a professional association (e.g CA/CPA)

This is a full-time position located at Tarong Power Station Kingaroy/Nanango
The Senior Finance Business Partner serves as a key strategic advisor, making substantial contributions to the long-term success of the portfolio by cultivating robust partnerships, delivering actionable financial insights, and ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives. The Senior BP will also collaborate closely with senior operational leaders and diverse business units, providing financial insights, conducting analyses, and offering recommendations to drive profitability, efficiency, and sustainable growth.
