As they continue to expand, they are seeking a talented and experienced Portfolio Development Lead to join their team and contribute to shaping the future of their portfolio.


As a Portfolio Development Lead, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and diversification of our client's energy and utilities portfolio.

Your primary responsibility will be identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and potential acquisitions.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will lead the development and execution of portfolio expansion strategies, ensuring successful project delivery and making a significant impact on the global energy landscape.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify and assess new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and potential acquisitions to expand the energy and utilities portfolio.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research, competitive analysis, and feasibility studies to evaluate the viability and potential returns of new projects.
  • Develop and execute portfolio expansion strategies aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate and secure project development agreements, partnerships, and joint ventures.
  • Oversee the project development process, including permitting, financing, engineering, and construction activities, to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in portfolio development, business development, or project management within the energy and utilities sector.
  • Strong knowledge of the energy and utilities industry, including renewable energy, clean technologies, utilities infrastructure, and market dynamics.
  • Proven track record of identifying and executing successful business development opportunities, partnerships, and acquisitions.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with the capability to identify market trends and assess investment opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
  • Experience in project development, permitting, and financing within the energy and utilities sector is highly desirable.
