As the Commercial Manager/Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving and optimising the business performance of the Queensland operations.

Working closely with the State Manager and the Senior Leadership Team, you will provide insightful, proactive, timely, and high-quality analysis and commercial advice to guide strategic decision-making.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy in collaboration with the State Manager.
  • Create accurate financial models and conduct thorough feasibility analyses for strategic decisionmaking.
  • Deliver highquality boardlevel presentations and monthly business performance reports.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting team to analyse profit and loss, providing valuable insights.
  • Support the team in achieving business plan objectives through effective coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls, authorize business payments, and address audit queries.
  • Review site property lease documents, ensure QBCC reporting compliance, and provide legal support as needed.
About you

  • Background ideally in a manufacturing or heavy commercial industry with a deep understanding of operational dynamics
  • Strong experience in analysing business performance, including profitability, revenue, pricing, and cost of goods sold.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with the management team to drive financial performance.
  • Ability to conduct commercial analysis to determine future profitability of identified opportunities.
  • Proficiency in preparing comprehensive reporting packages and engaging presentations for business leaders.
  • Track record in developing annual budgets and forecasts with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Expertise in implementing approved budgets, monitoring controls, and analysing costs.
  • Proficient in interpreting legal documents and providing recommendations/responses.
