Team Leader - Workers Compensation | Perth, Western Australia

Our Workers Compensation team is market leading; with proven expertise, we provide a diverse range of products and solutions for our clients.

Our Perth Claims team currently have an opportunity for an experienced Workers Compensation professional to lead a team of Case Managers.

You will bring a passion for best practice operations management to ensure our service targets are achieved and exceeded.


You'll be responsible for:


  • Achieve individual KPI's and targets and monitor team performance through system reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with team to develop strategies to achieve ideal outcomes, ensuring adherence to relevant legislative requirements.
  • Ensure customer expectations and business objectives are met by maximising team performance through effective management, coordination of duties, maintenance of standards and continuous improvement of business process.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed within agreed timeframes and scope in accordance with Allianz policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Develop customer relationships (internal and external) by seeking to understand customer requirements, anticipating, and recommending solutions and ensuring team cohesion to provide a positive customer experience and outcome.
  • Identify and implement training needs to build team performance in the achievement of targets relating to quality and compliance measures, documenting, and communicating quality / other reviews and records as required.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a successful team within Workers Compensation
  • Proven Workers Compensation claims experience
  • Strong understanding of WA Personal Injury Legislation
  • Resilience, ability to problem solve and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Demonstrated experience building, coaching, and creating a highperformance culture
  • Selfmotivation, adaptability and a growth mindset that creates a safe place for your team to grow and learn
  • Exceptional written & verbal communication skills including report analysis and interpretation
  • Ability to foster and maintain strong relationships
  • Resultsdriven mindset
