The Process Superintendent is responsible for leading a team of Process Engineers who provide technical direction to the Cast Products production teams.

Primary Accountabilities:

Managing the day to day process performance of the Cast Products Department
Ensuring robust data capture and process variation analysis is imbedded into the daytoday operating culture of the department.
Strategic decision making to continually improve process efficiency and reduce operational risks.
Implementing effective communications with welldefined accountabilities between process, production and maintenance as well as with the customers.
Developing and managing the monthly and yearly planning budgets and output forecasting, including month by month variance reporting.

Selection Criteria:

Tertiary Qualifications in an Engineering field or a related discipline is essential
Minimum 5 years' experience in specialist Carbon, Casting or Electrolysis processes within the aluminium industry.
Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor team members for their professional development and strengthen overall team capabilities
Demonstrated ability to lead a team safely and improve team safety awareness
Demonstrated ability to make strategic decisions, problem solve and to take accountability and responsibility for technical process related outcomes
