One of Australia's leading Federal Government Departments are seeking a skilled and experienced
Policy Officer/ Policy Analyst to join a dynamic team in
Canberra ACT.

You will lead and assist in the leadership of the quality review of policy data for a Federal initiative as well as other data-related activities.

The
Policy Officer/ Policy Analyst will be offered an initial 6-month contract with extension options and a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Policy Officer/ Policy Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to;

Lead the quality review of reference data used and other datarelated activities.
Show initiative and ownership, while being able to take direction and feedback from their supervisor.
Support the accuracy and maintenance of the data and the considerations around the addition of new data and datasets
Gain an understanding of and contribute to standard operating procedures.

The successful Policy Officer/ Policy Analyst must have experience in the following:

Previous experience in similar role with proven ability to gain an understanding of and contribute to standard operating procedures.
Excellent organisational skills and welldeveloped communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to maintain positive working relationships, and to build collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders.
Familiarity with medical terminology would be an advantage
