boutique food manufacturing specialist steeped in tradition, we have an opportunity for a

Senior Maintenance Manager or Engineering Manager to take ownership of their strategic vision as they prepare to double in size in the next 3 to 5 years.

Based at their state-of-the-art facility in Perth's industrial heartland and reporting to the COO and the Board, we are looking for a pragmatic individual to transform the maintenance function to reduce downtown and drive productivity from a skilled and talented workforce of over 250.

Role Overview:

This role is a

permanent full-time salaried position and a pivotal position within the Leadership group. You will provide technical support, leadership to the Maintenance Team whilst overseeing the reduction of waste management, continuous improvement, production optimisation, and plant & equipment maximisation.

Responsibilities:

Leading continuous improvement initiatives to reduce planned and unplanned downtime and cost of maintenance
Determining, implementing and monitoring engineering strategies, policies and plans
Ability to efficiently conduct detailed engineering design of systems used in site manufacturing services.
Objectively assess machine specifications against required operational need.
Ensuring all manufacturing and support equipment is properly maintained to be available and functioning to specification
Regular and accurate reporting on all active projects
Contract management of our 3rd party maintenance providers and other site service providers
Managing the maintenance team to execute maintenance strategies
Promoting and implementing best practice to improve project outcomes

Provide technical, maintenance and process support
Root cause analysis of plant failures and process issues

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering discipline with a strong engineering and/or Maintenance leadership background
An indepth knowledge of driving a preventative maintenance culture ideally gained in a
FMCG, food, beverage or highspeed manufacturing environment:
A pro-active attitude with the ability to offer guidance and resolve complex technical issues
Excellent people management skills and a cando attitude (no
