About the Opportunity
An exciting new opportunity exists for an experienced Packaging Manager to join our Industrial team in South Brisbane.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will play an integral role in the day to day operation across blow molding and packaging to ensure timely delivery of product to schedule and specification.


Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring production is as per the schedule, and manufacturing budget;
  • Ensuring compliance to food safety requirements for all products manufactured;
  • Ensuring all products produced are to specification and in line with quality guidelines and expectations of our customers;
  • Coach and manage your team of direct reports to achieve budget, quality, safety and production requirements;
  • Manage and implement productivity and effiency gains.

You will have:


  • Sound Dairy FMCG industry knowledge;
  • Sound influencing and relationship management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate people;
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and develop employees;
  • Superior analytical and problem solving ability;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement improvement initiatives;
  • Experience and knowledge with industry compliance requirements;
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and OHS;
  • Demonstrated experience in championing best practice;
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in the Manufacturing, Engineering or Science fields is desirable.
