Job Description:


The Group Executive Business Technology Operations and Security is a key member of the Senior Executive team engaged in defining the overall Technology strategy and delivering IT leadership, delivery of key IT Operations & Security functions and oversight of the Business and Technology Team within the MedHealth group.

This role will work closely with the broader Group Executive and Group Executive, Application Development.


Your Core Accountabilities

Executive Leadership

  • As part of the Senior Executive team, provide strategic and operational leadership to the Business Technology team
  • Perform a central role in the identification, evaluation and development of opportunities and to mitigate risk
  • Take the lead on developing and implementing change management activities
  • Provide specific leadership and management of the Business Technology team by keeping them informed and engaged, providing ongoing performance feedback, ongoing coaching and guiding, and supporting opportunities for continuous professional development

Technology Infrastructure

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the organization's technology infrastructure
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the organization to ensure a modern, best practice approach is maintained

Information Security

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy appropriate to the organisation
  • Protect the organization's digital assets from cyber threats and ensure compliance with relevant regulations

Data Management

  • Manage the organization's data assets, ensuring best practice data quality, integrity, and availability.
  • Develop and implement data governance policies and practices.

  • Highly developed problem solving and the ability to provide effective solutions within established frameworks and resources.
  • Sound business and commercial acumen and outcome focused with appropriate risk management and balanced solutions.
  • Ability to work with a high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible to organisational changes and requirements
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment to achieve organisational and team goals
