  • Job Description

The Role:


As a Maintenance and Warehouse Officer, you will provide warehouse services and assistance to the Operational Group and Warehouse Manager NSW and assist in the timely and cost-effective maintenance of the Sydney site, vehicles, plant and equipment.


In this role you will:

  • Provide warehouse services to site operations, typically providing forklift load and unload services and expediting project inventory and small tool requirements to field staff.
  • Assist operational staff with inventory related queries and assist staff with loading/unloading (Trailers etc) where possible.
  • Ensure picking slips are actioned (pick and packed) within agreed times (24hrs).
  • Ensure inventory documentation is accurate, complete and processed for all transactions within 24 hrs (As directed by Warehouse Manager) Process returns where necessary following Suppliers RMA requirements.
  • Receiving, unloading, checking contents against delivery docket and company purchase order details and signing for incoming deliveries
  • Assisting with the organisation and placement of stock in the warehouse as directed by the Warehouse Manager
  • Occasional local delivery and pick of company assets as required by the Warehouse Manager
  • Provide and maintain a secure, organised and clean environment for Mirait vehicles and equipment
  • Assist in stocktakes (cyclical or annual) when required
  • Ensure that maintenance is up to date on vehicles, plant and equipment, forklifts, small tools and warehouse premise
  • Ensure that small tools and yard parked vehicles and associated equipment are regularly checked for damage, are well maintained and that the site is adequately stocked for safety equipment, field tools and consumables
  • Ensure pool vehicles are checked out and in using the Power App / Confirming driver details.
  • Provide backup services to the Warehouse Manager

To be considered for this opportunity you will require:

  • Extensive experience in warehouse related roles
  • Forklift licence
  • Have a working knowledge of maintenance requirements of vehicles, plant and equipment.
  • Have a working knowledge of the telecommunications industry and related inventory.
  • Have a working knowledge of MS Office products including Word and Excel and of the day to day transactional processes of the company's ERP System (MYOB EXO), specifically as they relate to Inventory.
Being a licensed plant operator or having a truck licence would be looked at highly favourably.
