Our client are a dynamic customer-centric underwriting agency providing outstanding experiences to their brokers and are looking for a dedicated Underwriter to join their Property team.


Our client has a passion for insurance and this is evident from their response to the first inquiry through all life stages of a policy, including claims handling.

Drawing upon collective knowledge and experience, the needs of brokers and their clients can be anticipated, creating innovative products and risk solutions across a broad range of insurance classes.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Reporting directly to the Property Underwriting Team manager.
  • Application of underwriting strategies across a broad range of occupations and industries.
  • Adhering to underwriting guidelines and standards as issued by our client and Security Partners.
  • Providing underwriting expertise in risk assessment, terms, conditions and pricing for new and existing Property accounts.
  • Build and develop relationships with Intermediaries in the procurement of new account opportunities and strengthen renewal retentions.
  • Attend conferences/industry events with a view to building relationships with our customers.
  • Mentor and assist with training team members when required.

Skills and Experience:


  • FSRA Tier 2 General Insurance (or equivalent).
  • Excellent time management and organisation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and attention to detail skills required.
