Project Description
We are hiring a Service Transition Lead for the Application Management Services portfolio for a large Australian Bank.

This role will be key to establishing the service transition process, engaging heavily with a range of stakeholders from General Managers, Executive Managers, Project Managers to Platform teams and Operational delivery teams.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of project development and implementation across several complex transition projects.
  • Work with stakeholders to define the scope, processes and implementation of Service Transition.
  • Role includes preparing business cases and project plans, establishing appropriate governance, identifying, allocating and managing resources, and meeting reporting requirements, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget and to quality standards.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to ensure stakeholders are engaged throughout the project and project deliverables are met.
  • Provide expert advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues and present recommendations to support project delivery in line with established plans, budgets, timeframes, policy objectives and other project priorities.
  • Produce metrics, reports and dashboards to monitor and manage the Service Transition process.
  • Ensure a detailed, workable, comprehensive, and feasible Service Transition process is timeously delivered.
  • Provide expert Service Transition support and manage critical interfaces with key stakeholders for program.
  • Continuously improve the Service Transition process using data, metrics and feedback.
  • Ensuring that transitions are planned and carried out in a timely manner and within budget.
  • Keep all parties involved with the transition updated on its progress.
  • Spot any transitionrelated issues and creating effective solutions to resolve them swiftly
  • Organize, lead and represent Luxoft in governance meetings with senior client executives

Skills

Must have

  • 7+ years of project management and/or management consulting experience.
  • 3+ years of ITIL process experience (Incident, Event, Release, Change, Problem, etc.), ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations or relevant experience.
  • Experience performing service transition management role/s in complex organizations with multisourced delivery models.
  • Previous experience leading programs and/or workstreams in the outsourcing of functional processes.
  • Exposure to Service Transition in an Agile environment
  • A good working knowledge of IT service principles and frameworks including ITIL, process tools (ServiceNow), frameworks, and best practice methods.
  • Proven IT support experience with broad technical knowledge.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading process improvement and organization change initiatives
  • Motivated, persistent with a high level of initiative and works well in a team
  • Experience working in a financial services organization would be highly regarded
  • Good experience in planning, reporting & stakeholder management.
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders up to and including Csuite business and technology stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage teams and objectives with conflicting priorities across functions, businesses and time zones.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Should have experience in Agile process & governance.
