We are currently seeking a qualified
Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our Delta FM Hospitals QLD team.

You will work with our committed maintenance team on a large hospital site in South Brisbane maintaining and managing a diverse array of assets and subcontractors.

You'll work with the Maintenance Planner to drive asset maintenance best practice whilst ensuring continuity of essential Building and Engineering services.


Some of your day to day tasks will include:

  • Ensure continuity of essential Building and Engineering services
  • Scoping and quoting minor works
  • Managing staff to perform carpentry and handyman tasks within the campus
  • Tracking work completion and quality of both internal and external staff.
  • Analysis and improve processes and job flow.
  • Monitor and track KPI's whilst driving WHS compliance and best practice
  • Ensure all the activities are performed in accordance with moral, ethical, legal standards and maintain best FM practice.
  • Management and coordination of maintenance resources and equipment assets within the Hospital Campus.
  • Monitoring of stock/equipment purchases, ensuring all purchases are within budget.
  • Oversight of all facility management processes across a large hospital campus

The Person

  • Trade qualified in Carpentry or a similar technical discipline.
  • A solid understanding of Facilities management, carpentry, building and subcontractor management
  • Well versed in all maintenance process and workplace health and safety regulations
  • Background working with computerised maintenance management systems
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Current driver's license.
  • Strong computer skills (Excel and Word)
  • Experience within a hospital or healthcare environment is highly desirable._

_ In line with the required legislation, a valid and current National Police check, and several other immunisations will be required as part of the standard recruitment and selection process for this position. You must also be vaccinated against COVID 19._
