The opportunity


We have a new opportunity for a Scrum Master a permanent full time role within the Digital Transformation team which delivers digital products and innovation, this role leads and manages the delivery of multiple complex projects within quality, time and cost constraints and provides expert advice to facilitate the delivery of strategic priorities, drive efficiency and improve business and customer outcomes.


Your role will include:

  • Provide assistance with assessing ICT business requests for new products and services.
  • Setup and facilitate project delivery by creating and managing project backlogs and roadmaps, writing user stories, and managing tasks with the team through daily project checkins.
  • Lead planning tasks with product owners, stakeholders, project managers and delivery teams to elicit requirements and delivery priority.
  • Manage and facilitate delivery team ceremonies with the team's Developers and Solution Architects to deliver high quality decision making generated by the team.
  • Collaborate with PMO on governance and maintaining the financial viability of projects.
  • Proactively work with suppliers and support the organisation to ensure IT services deliver against business case benefits and contribute to business objectives.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of effective business and communications strategies for projects, programs and initiatives.
  • Facilitate and drive support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example to increase the effectiveness across the branch.
  • Demonstrate the five ways of leading behaviours to deliver organisational outcomes for our customers, our people and communities for the greater good.

About you

  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and communications skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the fundamentals of software development processes and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of Agile and Lean-Agile principles and practices, including Scrum.
  • Demonstrated skill and experience in a large, complex organisation in a technology setting.
  • Demonstrated track record in delivering complex, largescale projects.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is TfNSW Grade 8 ($123, $138, per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.??
