Join a dynamic team as a Community Partnership Specialist, contributing to the enhancement of the quality of life for 1.5 million residents across Queensland.

As a key player, you'll nurture vital relationships with clients, external partners, and internal teams. Your role focuses on understanding and overcoming challenges in infrastructure project delivery, managing communication and engagement processes. Face-to-face community engagement is a core requirement, establishing an indispensable connection point between the client and communities.


The Opportunity:


  • Manage client and customer relationships, supporting project delivery understanding.
  • Lead external infrastructure communications and engagement processes.
  • Guide stakeholders, including delivery partners, consultants, and community members.
  • Contribute to internal marketing plans, fostering strong external customer relationships.
  • Conduct stakeholder and community engagement activities, identifying and addressing needs.
  • Build capabilities within existing frameworks, offering specialized training to others.
  • Implement external communications plans within established systems.
  • Contribute to the development of Indigenous Healing Practices Training Standards.
  • Uphold behavioural competencies like action orientation, accountability, and a growth mindset.
  • Demonstrate technical competencies in action planning, strategic questioning, and commercial acumen.

About You:


  • Bachelor's degree in communication or relevant field.
  • IAP2 Certification.
  • 6+ years of experience in a similar role managing customer and community relationships.
  • Proven practical experience in implementing IAP2 principles in community engagement.
  • Experience planning and managing resources for predetermined objectives (36 years).
  • Strong engagement with stakeholders in infrastructure and maintenance program delivery.
