About the Role:

If you seek an exceptional teaching opportunity, look no further An exciting chance awaits a Science/Maths teacher to join an Independent Girls School in Sunshine, commencing in Term 2.

Joining a supportive and collaborative team, you'll teach Maths and Science to students in years 7-11 in a full-time capacity.

This school provides a superb chance to immerse yourself in a vibrant school community within a professional working environment.

Key duties:

Develop and implement a comprehensive Maths and Science curriculum aligned with the Victorian Curriculum, covering various topics such as algebra, geometry, calculus, biology, chemistry, physics, and environmental science.
Create engaging and differentiated lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, incorporating handson experiments, problemsolving activities, and inquirybased investigations to enhance students' understanding and mastery of mathematical and scientific concepts.
Design and administer assessments, tests, and experiments to evaluate students' understanding and provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their academic performance.
Engage in continuous professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in Maths and Science education.

Skills & Experience:

Completed relevant Qualifications in Education
Maintain a valid and uptodate VIT registration
Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
Demonstrate previous experience in teaching Maths/Science
Ability to provide contact details for two educationbased references from within the last 5 years (studentteacher mentors are acceptable).
