The Role:


Our Storage Managers work collaboratively with their Operations Manager and their team to drive centre performance whilst aligning to company values.

The role is a multi-faceted role encompassing customer service, administration, operations & people management.

Located in Port Melbourne, this centre is our Flagship site, with a large range of corporate & commercial customers.

As a business we will provide all on the job training to help you become a Storage Guru in return, - day-to-day you will be responsible for the following:


The responsibilities include:

Deliver and drive consistent and great service to support customers in making the best storage choice for their needs
Maintaining & Cleaning of the Storage Facility & Grounds.
Work towards monthly sales and KPI targets
Coach and lead a small team of Store Consultants
Drive operational excellence with a strong focus on centre presentation and maintenance
Commit to a safety-first culture, ensuring all compliance and administration tasks are completed in line with company policies
Resolve customer complaints and enquiries, and escalate any matters of support to Senior Management where required
Monthly analysis and end of month reporting summarising the centre's financial performance per month
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager regarding weekly & monthly updates/results
EOM Reporting and Ensuring centre KPI's are driven
Leading and managing your Storage Consultant to help drive the business to ensure success
Drive Storage Sales to help growth in the local area
Day
- to
  • Day Running of the business to ensure that the facility maintains National Storage standards, and continually provide fantastic customer service to our clients.
Assisting & servicing the Commercial Customer Base to ensure their needs are met on a daily/weekly basis

Be responsible for looking after the afterhours mobile phone - and to assist clients should any emergencies or issues pop up outside standard trade.

(As this is an emergency line - there is a very low number of calls)
Action general administration duties such as rosters, leave requests and timesheets, customer contracts and inventory management


About You:

Prior 5 + years' experience within a management or role in a fast-paced o flagship centre environment
Strong conflict & resolution knowledge, and the ability to de-escalate situations.
Proven ability in working towards sales targets and KPIs
Foster relationships with team members and Senior Management whilst delivering a supportive and exceptional customer experience
You have a motivated, proactive, and positive outlook with the willingness to learn and grow with the business
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
Driver's license and car (preferred)
