This is a fantastic opportunity for a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner seeking a position with a dedicated Allied Health owned employer working from their new
Robina clinic.

Clients have a range of goals, functional abilities and complex needs requiring your expertise as an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to guide and support them.

The role:

Build close relationships with your clients and their families to gain a thorough understanding of their needs and goals
Conduct assessments and implement strategies in consultation with families for various behaviours of concern.
Provide professional information to families around evidencebased approaches to reduce the impact of challenging behaviour
Develop Behaviour Support Plans that align with their NDIS plan & goals
Ongoing evaluation and adjustments made to implemented strategies & plans
If required, provide training and specialist advice to your teams on Behaviour Support Plans
Consult and collaborate with stakeholders including the allied health team, care providers, carers/family members, relevant agencies and government departments.

Requirements:

At least 12 months experience working as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
Experience working with complex clients, including people with Intellectual Disabilities & Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a range of clients as well as families, health practitioners and other stakeholders
Excellent time management skills with a focus on clientcentred planning
Working with Children Check, National Police Check, Children's First Aid training (or willingness to obtain these)
Current driver's licence and car.
