About the OPPORTUNITY
We have excellent opportunities for multiple Change Managers to join our business. The location of these roles are in Osborne, SA and Sydney, NSW.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.

Reporting directly to the Business Change Partner and indirectly to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for enabling the execution of change management strategies and providing change management support to our Maritime projects.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Working closely with sponsors, project managers and team leaders, to ensure specific change activities are undertaken that support the sustainable delivery of change
  • Ensuring the change is clearly defined (what) and the value of the change articulated
  • Ensuring all impacted parties are kept informed, engaged, trained and have an understanding of the business benefits and how these are linked to the overall strategy
  • Developing and managing key stakeholder relationships ensuring collaboration
  • Facilitating workshops with stakeholders to develop and implement change management plans focused on maximizing adoption
  • Providing advice to project team members, business stakeholders and senior executives on change management risks or issues
  • Providing regular and meaningful reports on the delivery of change management plans for the project
About YOU

  • Demonstrated experience in a "hands on" change management role
  • Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or operations environment would be desirable
  • Experience in mediation, public relations, UX design or digital transformation would be desirable
  • Positive psychology or appreciative enquiry skills would be desirable
  • Tertiary qualification and/or Certification in PROSCI/APMG would be desirable
  • Excellent coaching and communication skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous situations and balance conflicting priorities
