How will I help?


An Exciting opportunity is available for a Project Coordinator - Technology to manage project activities that deliver technology solutions, within the Westpac Group Corporate environment.

The role also focuses primarily on the delivery of small technology projects and refreshes, within Westpac Banking Group.

Typical project types delivered cover Technology implementation of all types within the building's including:

  • Desktop technology replacements and installations such as monitors, mouse/keyboards.
  • Floor churns and desktop setup
  • AV/VC and digital installations
  • Floor port patching and cabling
  • General Minor Works
  • Operational response, investigation, and planning

Your key responsibilities may include:

  • Coordinating project with particular focus on planning, vendor and partner coordination, cost, and invoice management, as well as risk management and ensuring IT standards are followed.
  • Integrating the IT project delivery with multiple project stakeholders including Group Property, builders, Self Service Device Delivery Team, Group Protective Services, Workplace, SNS, AV, Digital Media, Retail Marketing, CxT, NEC, Cabling Panel, Ricoh, and Optus.
  • Ensuring requested IT deliverables are within agreed IT guidelines for program (e.g., approved IT solutions with BAU support process in place).
  • Coordinating on site programming of works alongside partner teams, project, and business works.
  • Assessing and preparing accurate and timely estimates, quotations, including material lists, schedules, and identification, management of vendors and both internal and external partner teams.
  • Managing project costs against budget during delivery and ensure any changes are managed according to standard processes.
  • Managing closeout of all billing and provide final cost reports against estimates.
  • Managing delivery partners to ensure technology solutions represent quality, are cost effective and are risk managed solutions that seamless integrate with other project delivery streams.

What do I need?
To be successful in this role, you will have experience with vendor coordination and management, excellent communication skills, a people
- oriented approach and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

In addition to this, your skills may include:

  • Experience in Corporate physical environment projects, integrating IT into Property managed building construction works.
  • Experience working with telecommunications teams or vendors, data cabling, IT networks and AV solutions.
  • Experience coordinating changes to IT infrastructure to align with building works including outside of business hours.
  • Experience with Project Finance Tracking.
  • Weekend work and travel (including over weekends) across Australia would be required.
