TikTok's SMB team aims to help businesses and brands of all sizes unleash their creative side, connect with our audience, or perhaps be discovered From executing scaled sales and service delivery programs to ensuring our customers have best-in-class tools and products at their fingertips, our SMB team combines operational expertise and sales acumen with a customer-centric mindset to help businesses achieve their marketing goals on TikTok.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and develop the team of Strategic Partnership Managers (SPM) and Enablement Managers (EM) to achieve our and our partners' goals efficiently and with high quality.
  • Sponsor either SPM or EM function across all APAC markets in order to drive regional alignment of processes and programs
  • Deliver on new business acquisition and revenue targets by supporting SPMs/and EMs to devise and maintain a comprehensive and up to date region/market gotomarket new SMB engagement and acquisition strategy with clear goals and executional plan.
  • Plan ahead, lead with vision, keep the longterm value in mind and continuously explore new opportunities through pilots to take SBE to the next level.
  • Monitor acquisition initiatives on our key performance metrics and regularly evaluate region/market acquisition strategy to develop recommendations for goforward planning.
  • Take initiative, lead by example and be handson to tap into opportunities or solve problems whenever needed. Help SPMs/EMs nurture relationships with highpotential external SMB partners. Own and continuously drive process and tooling improvement to remove any knowledge, performance and process gaps for the team.
  • Act as the main regional SBE POC for KR/JP/AU/NZ, and work closely with global, regional, inmarket sales teams and cross functional partners incl. Marketing, Product, Sales Ops, Strategy, Programs and Vendor to identify new business needs and opportunities.
  • Develop a highperforming environment by setting clear and ambitious team goals, supporting and challenging the team to meet and exceed their goals and empowering them to prioritize meaningful breakthroughs.
  • Foster the growth of the team and advance their professional development through coaching, effective feedback and guidance, career planning and ongoing training.
  • Cultivate inclusive and collaborative culture by appreciating diverse and unique viewpoints and actively facilitating collaboration across teams to achieve shared goals.

Qualifications:


  • 8+ year work experience in the digital advertising space
  • Formal people management experience of a team of 4 or more with demonstrated experience of successfully leading, coaching and inspiring others while driving measurable business outcomes
  • Extensive experience in sales, new business acquisition/development or b2b strategic partnerships, ideally within the digital marketing space in KR/JP/AU/NZ
  • Strong sales and revenue focus background, with a successful track record of building impactful gotomarket strategies, and owning and delivering quantitative targets
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, organizational, project and process management skills
  • Driven selfstarter with a cando attitude and demonstrated ability to creatively and effectively fill operational "white space" to drive results
  • Experience and demonstrated results prioritizing and managing tasks effectively with strict rigour and attention to detail in a highly crossfunctional, ambiguous and fastpaced environment
  • A genuine passion for small business, sales and business development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and stakeholder influencing skills in English. Korean and Japanese are a plus yet not a requirement
