$130,000 - $140,000 p.a. commensurate with experience

About the Role
The primary role of a Consultant will be to work as part of a team, engaged with clients to work with clients to analyse their supply chain requirements and help deliver process improvement.
We are looking for people who love solving problems, simplify the complex and get excited about manufacturing, engineering, logistics and supply chain planning.
Responsibilities
- Work with the client to analyse their supply chain requirements
- Research, analyse and evaluate design support systems needed to capitalise internal process improvement opportunities for clients
- Define the requirements of decision support systems to capitalise business improvement opportunities for clients
- Defining best strategies and approaches to meet client needs in terms of decision support system by analysing if there are competitive alternatives in the market or best option is to build custom system, taking into account cost and requirements of clients' businesses
- Writing and maintaining program code of decision support systems
- Designing and managing databases of decision support systems
- Prepare and facilitate workshops
- Conduct process mapping and re
- Support or lead the delivery of selected planning work streams within our consulting assignments for the Company's clients
Skills Required:
- Operational experience of between 35 years with a recognisable international organisation
- A relevant degree in supply chain or another numerate / analytical degree
- Specific skills including:
II. Inbound distribution forecasting
III. Knowledge of the operational supply chain
IV. Manufacturing and Lean
V. Procurement
VI. Warehouse and Logistics
VII. Scheduling and planning (IBP / APS)
VIII. Research, analysis, and evaluation of decision support systems
IX. Design, testing, diagnosing, and management of decision support systems
- Excellent judgement and understanding of when to escalate
- Ability to set realistic deadlines and complete work, and persuade others to complete work, on time
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A team player
- English speaking, with further languages being an advantage
- Entrepreneurial flair and have strong analytical capability
- Ambitious career plans, willingness to constantly learn
- Passionate, outgoing personality
- Outstanding communication skills, able to communicate to all levels of stakeholder
- Can manage large amount of data, advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point, etc. Competency in BI tools is an advantage
