This leading University is currently seeking an experienced Instructional Designer with a solid background in Learning & Development for their large CRM replacement Program of work.
You will be a confident facilitator who is comfortable speaking to end users and ensuring all training responds to everyone's needs.
Key activities
- Develop and deliver training for end user groups, both on
- Analyse requirements and methodically develop instruction materials to match learning needs
- Work closely with Change Managers and Instructional Designer colleagues to develop Training Strategy and Training Needs Analysis Delivery Schedule
- Provide input and advise for support post training
- Develop, assess, and report on learners' competency and achievement of learning outcomes
- Troubleshoot system problems and escalate to the vendor where appropriate
- Develop the Training Plan including identification of learning outcomes, determining appropriate delivery method considering team sizes, need for refresher training and potential for scalability
- Develop or update work instructions (including instructional videos) where required
- Transition project learning artefacts into BAU and induction programs
Skills and experience
- Previous experience working as an Instructional Designer or similar within a large, complex organisation
- Salesforce implementation experience
- Experience in developing and delivering training across business processes and related IT Systems via electronic and digital channels using Agile Methodology
- Loves training in a classroom environment and engages successfully with all delegates (with hybrid training required at times)
- Experience using a range of digital formats (Articulate. Camtasia, Snagit, Captivate etc) to develop a range of learning materials
- Use of JIRA, Confluence, LMS (TrainMe and Canvas) CRM (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamic) Fonteva
- Understanding of Design Thinking, HCD methodologies, Instructional Design Models, and other theories 70:20:10
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to work effectively at all levels in an organisation
- Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
- Education industry experience is highly desirable
