Office based position. Hybrid model (work 3 days in the office & 2 days from home)

Be part of a large multidisciplinary team providing professional and compassionate health care across a large network of sites in a challenging and dynamic environment.

THE POSITION:

The Director of Nursing plays a key role in setting and maintaining high quality healthcare, developing staff and maintaining relationships with multiple stakeholders.

You will provide professional nursing leadership and governance across the IHMS network.

Key responsibilities:

Manage and guide health service managers across multiple sites
Contribute to policies, procedures and development of medical services
Uphold and develop quality standards, working closely with the Quality team
Liaison with client representatives
Working closely with the Medical Directors and executive team to ensure that a health strategy/plan is developed, monitored and executed.
Oversee the educational program for the network working closely with the clinical educator
Oversee the Infection prevention and control objective for the network
Participation in the recruitment and development of qualified medical personnel ensuring workforce stability

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

Full working rights in Australia
Current AHPRA Registration
Proven experience as a Director of Nursing, senior nursing or health management in the public or private sectors
Availability to travel to sites across Australia
People management experience and Client relationship/account management experience
Quality management and process improvement experience
Ideally have contract and project management experience
