    Job Description

    The Circulation Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales of our newspapers through the newsagent, retail, distributor and accommodation channels. You will build and maintain strong relationships and provide a high level of customer support to existing accounts to maintain distribution of Nine publications, as well as actively seeking new business opportunities.

    Day to day you will:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key retailers, distributors, and hotels across assigned territories.
  • Investigate and report on escalated subscriber/delivery service complaints.
  • Meet with distributor/ news-agency purchasers (prior to take-over where necessary), to outline basic Nine retail and distribution requirements
  • Monitor product display, branding and signage across assigned territory
  • Assist with the performance management of newsagents and general retailers
  • Monitor general retailer supplies across assigned territories
  • Investigate and report on contract performance issues as required.
  • Provide point of contact for Circulation team
  • Liaise with Logistics Contractors to resolve issues as they arise

    • Please note you will be required to have a valid Australian Drivers license for this position.

    Qualifications

    What we would like to see:

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
  • Previous account management or sales experience
  • A good understanding of the newsagent and distribution network.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent customer focus, planning and priority setting.
  • Current drivers license.
  • CRM experience (salesforce) is ideal but not essential
