ABOUT THE ROLE
Purpose of the Position:
- Provide additional administrative support to the Operations team supporting the stores
- Processes improvements to ensure consistency across both stores
- Provide additional administrative support to the GM of Operations as required
- Enhance and maintain stocktake procedures
Main Responsibilities:
- Processing suppliers' invoices & monthly supplier statement reconciliations
- Weekly supplier payment runs
- Processing Stock transfers & Inventory adjustments
- Liaise with warehouse and stores regarding Stock transfers & Dispatch
- Liaise with warehouse, sales staff and suppliers to the expedite customer queries
- Following up outstanding payments with customers for stock that has been delivered as required
Role Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to provide a high level of customer service
- Strong Accounts Payable /ERP experience (Pronto experience highly desirable)
- Previous retail and administrative experience advantageous, particularly within the furniture industry
- Strong data entry skills and high attention to detail
- Problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize workload are a must
- Intermediate Excel skills highly regarded
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential
