About the role
Southern Ports is recruiting an Intelliports Program Manager to join their team in Perth. The Intelliports Program Manager will perform an important role in managing the variables associated with the Intelliports program. This role will report to Chief Information Officer and will provide key input into the program steering committee.

The Program Manager will be responsible for:

  • Providing strong governance and reporting to the Executive Leadership team via the Program Steering Committee
  • Managing program budgets and commercial aspects of vendor contracts
  • Managing program activities against an established plan
  • Managing and mitigate risks and issues
  • Liaising with the implementation vendor on technical details to ensure key considerations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 other systems are factored during implementation.
  • Providing detailed oversight of project activities while also ensuring key milestones are met by specified dates.
  • Reporting and keeping stakeholders updated on all aspects of the project will be required.
  • Implement a program roadmap and detailed architecture outlining the initiatives and their dependencies or time horizons.
  • Effective handover of the project into businessasusual operations.
  • Fostering effective relationships to ensure business stakeholders, project team and vendor teams are engaged.
  • Ensuring that the project can deliver the benefits outlined in the business case, and that it meets the reasonable expectations of end users
  • Using situational leadership techniques to influence outcomes.


The Program Manager will have managed similar Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations implementations and be comfortable with complex organisational environments with competing priorities.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Work with business and vendor to ensure that the correct requirements and business needs are met
  • Contract management of vendors.

Experience:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree business administration or related field or equivalent work experience is desirable
  • Relevant project management is desirable
  • Three to five years of leadership responsibility managing midsize to large teams and influencing seniorlevel management and key stakeholders

  • Flexibility and adaptable to the needs of the business
  • Must be able to work with a vast range of contractors and customers
  • Preparation of reports and the ability to provide presentations
  • Current WA Driver's Licence

Requirements:


To be eligible for this 18-month fixed term role, applicants must reside in or be willing to relocate to Perth and provide proof of Australian citizenship or permanent residency.


The successful applicant must have a current WA driver's licence, be able to obtain and maintain a Maritime Security Access Card and undergo a pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol testing.
