Are you a skilled Maintenance Fitter looking for an exciting opportunity in the packaging industry?

A forward-thinking packaging company in Thomastown, are seeking experienced and
qualified Production, Maintenance Fitter's to join their dynamic team on a temp to perm basis within a 3-month period.

Interviewing immediately and the shifts available are either stationed on an
afternoon shift (3:30pm - 11:30pm) or night shift (11:30pm - 7am) plus Overtime daily and Saturdays when required Starting at $ overtime loadings.

As a Maintenance Fitter, you will play a crucial role in day-to-day operations, assembling, maintaining, and repairing state-of-the-art packaging machinery.

Your expertise will be vital to ensuring seamless production processes. Join a dedicated team of professionals who share your passion for excellence and innovation.

Your Responsibilities will include, but not be Limited to:

Assemble and install machinery, ensuring precise alignment and optimal functionality.
Conduct routine maintenance to maximise equipment uptime and performance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly, implementing effective solutions.
Collaborate with our engineering and production teams to optimise equipment performance.
Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to industry best practices and standards.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.

Your Requirements will also consist of:

Proven track record as a Mechanical Fitter within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
Thorough knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals with ease.
Exceptional problemsolving skills and keen attention to detail.
Strong commitment to safety protocols and ensuring quality workmanship.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Relevant technical certifications or qualifications would be advantageous.
Certificate III in Engineering.
