Our Oceania sales department is responsible for Sales and Business Development for the Regional Organisation in Australia & New Zealand.

The division mainly focuses on Sales and Business Development activities relating to Mobility, IoT / Connectivity and Smart solutions, Cross Selling within Oceania (Australia & New Zealand), supporting local sales for Ford GKAMs and project sample coordination for Ford's Engineering programs in Australia (e.g.

Ranger, Everest, etc.) along with supporting EV charging solutions (SaaS) in Oceania.


Job Description:

Our growing Bosch Sales division is seeking a passionate, organised and client-oriented Key Account Manager to join our team.

You will be responsible for managing and growing long-term relationships with our key automotive clients by focusing on their needs and providing excellent customer service.

The role will be based at our Headquarters in Clayton and is a permanent full-time opportunity.


Key Accountabilities include:

  • Foster meaningful relationships with key contacts and improve their perception of Bosch
  • Support the implementation of customer specific strategies, in line with corporate, Global KAM, Business Division and product division objectives
  • Monitor and communicate customer specific requirements and expectations with regards to cost, quality, delivery, and project support to RB cross functional groups
  • Negotiate and administer pricing to maximise value contribution
  • Identify and pursue nontraditional new business opportunities coordinated and aligned with the responsible stakeholders at Bosch.
  • Support projects and their results for respective customer (s) and build comprehensive mind mapping activities to support the customer account
  • Seek understanding of and detect explicit and implicit customer expectations

You need to be intrinsically motivated, be able to manage diverse topics and priorities, be highly flexible and able to establish effective relationships across all levels of our organisation.

To be considered for this position you should be able to demonstrate:

  • Proficient in MS Office Applications
  • Demonstrated commercial / business acumen in Automotive or similar roles
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to build strong business relationships and manage complex accounts/ key account management
  • Strong Stakeholder engagement experience
  • Proactive leader and planner with expertise in strategic planning
  • Time management & organisational skills

Other desirable attributes:

  • Automotive project management / industry experience
  • Medium level of organisational and environmental (market) awareness
