GHD has a significant profile in Contamination, Assessment & Remediation in Tasmania, and with strong growth in this area, it's an exciting time to join our market leading team.

We're looking for someone wanting to take their next career step into a rewarding leadership role as Team Leader of our Contamination, Assessment & Remediation team, based in any of our Tasmanian offices (Hobart, Launceston or Burnie).

You will be empowered and accountable for leading your own team, and will develop and mentor your team members, while managing the team's workload.

Drawing on your technical experience, qualifications, and previous experience in consulting, you will play a key role in leading-edge projects, and collaborate with industry leaders through the APAC region.

This key position will provide a balance of leadership, technical work and project management, and will see you involved in:

Managing the day to day functioning of the team
Building team capability around technical delivery, project and client outcomes.
Mentoring, training & investing in the development of your team members
Identifying, winning & delivering exceptional client projects
Collaborating with local, national & international colleagues

What you will bring to the team:

Appropriate environmental science or engineering degree, ideally supported by a minimum of 7 years' relevant consulting experience
Relevant industry knowledge in Contamination Assessment & Remediation, including longterm challenges, combined with strategy development skills
A passion for problem solving, to help develop innovative and sustainable solutions.
Someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with collaborators at all levels team, peers, colleagues, leaders, clients
Proactive, professional, collaborative and personable approach
Highlevel commercial awareness and business development skills, with wellestablished personal relationships across the industry sector
