Disability Strategy team


The Disability Strategy team is responsible for leading the delivery of a number of key initiatives, as well as working collaboratively and providing project management support across all initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in change to ensure that every child and young person in our school system is realising their full potential.

Current focus areas include implementation of an Outcomes Framework for Students with Disability and supporting the operations of the Disability Royal Commission.

The Project Officer performs project management activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of priorities in line with established objectives.

Essential requirements of the role

  • Hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) (for paid employment)

Key knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
