Angela Goodsir is an enterprise wide executive with a proven track record in transformative industry and business change with a deep understanding of strategic and commercial drivers.

She has delivered several large and complex business technology transformations in the Australian media sector.

Angela is an experienced CTO and in 2018 was recognised as one of Australia's Top 50 CIO's. She is a well-respected media technologist, operations executive and thought leader.

Angela is an Approved Advisor with the Advisory Board Centre and consults to business in strategic advisory, business model development, business scalability, business transformation and re-engineering.


Her experience has seen her lead large teams to manage digital disruption and operational complexity through harnessing and leveraging technology to drive business strategy and relentless innovation.

Angela has demonstrated leadership capability, a broad strategic mindset, resilience, inquisitiveness and agitates for change and thinking outside the box.

She is passionate about leading business transformation towards a digital future.


About the Role:

This role is responsible for developing and delivering transition plans for a major technology transformation program of work.

Importantly this includes the cutover of new workflows, business processes, new technology solutions and incorporates people readiness for the change.


What You Will Do:


  • Collaborate with the business and IT stakeholders to define the scope of cutover activities associated with the transition / handover to the Business as Usual teams
  • Define and develop the transition strategy and project plan for the program of work ensuring all areas (project, IT, business) are aligned with the plan and understand their role in it
  • Establish the cutover RAIDD model, ensuring diligent risk management is undertaken with close management of effective mitigation's, escalating risks and issues in project governance where necessary
  • Develop management reports to communicate transition progress and outcomes including cutover status reporting to project leadership and key stakeholders involved in coordination of business transition activities
  • Manage stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to ensure stakeholders are engaged throughout the project and project deliverables are met

What You Will Need:


  • Extensive experience working as a Transition/Cut-Over Manager, including developing cutover strategies, plans and key dependencies, tools and processes, as well as experience as a Business Analyst or Program Manager.
  • Demonstrated experience in the implementation of complex IT transformation programs, ideally within media or IT
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills; excellent communication and presentation skills; calm and measured approach with a focus on delivery, together with ability to identify organisational challenges, risks and points of resistance and recommending courses of action for successful mitigation.
  • Good knowledge of programme and project management methods including either DSDM/Agile PM, Waterfall and/or PRINCE
  • Scrum Master (Agile Delivery), ITILv4 Accreditation, P3O Foundation (Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices) and PROSCI Change Management qualifications also highly regarded. A tertiary education in IT or computer science also highly regarded.
