About the role
Collect and deliver goods for the Salvation Army Goulburn and coordinate stock management in line with The Salvation Army Mission and Values.
- Collect goods from donor businesses and residences, places of work and other locations as directed, in accordance with guidelines and in a safe, professional, timely and efficient manner.
- Deliver goods as directed in a safe, professional, timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained in a safe and clean condition by following all vehicle inspection, defect reporting and cleaning/housekeeping requirements.
- Ensure warehouse is maintained in a safe condition by following all safe systems of work, defect reporting.
- Communicate issues & problems to line management in a timely manner.
You will have
- Demonstrated experience in driving a vehicle for work, and handling stock
- Previous experience working in a customer facing role will be highly regarded.
- Sound verbal communication skills with an ability to interact with a variety people.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
- Relevant class C
- Car licence (Cars, utes, vans, vehicles seating up to 12 adults) or equivalent.
