Your Opportunity:


The role as Regional Sales Manager - Southern (Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania) is to conduct yourself in a professional manner and is to oversee, co-ordinate and direct the delivery of key and equipment management system solutions, services and/or projects.

In some cases, these projects will involve multiple types of Traka solutions in one of more locations within the region.

One of the primary responsibilities of the role is to generate, manage and convert the official work orders to project of customised, integrated solutions for Traka's customers and where applicable
partners for Item Management Systems (IMS) which involve Key and/or Equipment Management solutions (KEMS).

Additionally, this role is to provide appropriate support to assist Traka's customers, partners and internal sales force (where applicable) with formal proposals and offers to meet the end user's agreed outcome for each opportunity.

This role requires a hands-on approach to practical solutions to the customer and partners requests, as well a base for a strong technical leadership and support mind-set.

This role works closely with key members of the Traka's regional organisation and their related partners, including working with other RSM's, field staff, and product and development teams.

This role ensures the effective sale and support of 'Unified' IMS for corporate and government customers/partners.

Finally, this role is to ensure the KEMS opportunities are delivered in accordance with (iaw) specified requirements and within a pricing framework and always conscious of achieving a positive gross profit comparable to the technology and/or vertical market.


Your responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Work closely with Professional End User (PEU), Consultants and/or Specifiers, Partners to create and execute customer specific KEMS technology solutions to improve PEUs' business practices and processes, that align with the Traka's overall business, goals and objectives.
  • Assist with the collection of requirements to understand the unique PEU objectives and provide a custom solution to integrate and unify our IMS solutions within their systems and workflows.
  • Willingness to maintain and/or complete any relevant security clearance and/or business induction related requirements.
  • Generate and execute formal and professional responses to request for quotes and/or tenders, proposals & reports related to any KEMS opportunities iaw the Traka and ASSA ABLOY's company's policies, procedures and processes.
  • Provide PEU and vertical market input into business cases for Traka commercial off the shelf and/or customised IMS solutions.
  • Assist with compliance management of PEU solutions from technical, project and commercial perspectives.
  • Provide input to Traka Business Unit leadership for Account management, technology and product areas using expertise and knowledge of PEU technology requirements and infrastructure.
