The Role
Due to continued growth, our office is looking for a Draftsperson to kick-start their career within the team.

This is an exceptional opportunity to enhance your career within a medium sized engineering consulting company in a small office environment.


What Duties & Responsibilities Will YOU Have?

  • You will be responsible for learning and performing all aspects of drafting to company standards
  • You will be required to produce drawings for a wide range of structural engineering projects to be constructed
  • You will learn to use Autodesk Revit.
  • The projects range from alterations and additions to houses, through to largescale building projects in the residential, commercial, healthcare, education and industrial sectors primarily.
  • Whilst the role is in the civil team, there would be intermittent opportunities for exposure to other engineering disciplines including civil and building services.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Willing to enrol in a relevant Engineering TAFE course or been enrolled in a relevant course for the last 12 months if necessary
  • Committed and willing to learn about general construction, as well as how to document buildings in 2D and 3D using AutoDesk Revit.
  • Hard working, proactive and an ability to work autonomously
within a busy environment and as part of a team

  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good attention to detail
