Are you an experiences Project Manager ready to move into a Construction Manager role? A leading civil construction and bulk earthworks contractor is looking for experienced Construction Manager to join their QLD Project Team.

The Company:

This company has established themselves as one of the leading specialised civil contractors in QLD, delivering civil, bulk earthworks and large-scale boulder wall construction across the commercial, industrial and residential development sectors.

They leverage strong relationships with a select group of institutional developers, property funds and Principal Contractors.

The Role:

As Construction Manager, you will be the interface between the senior management team, on-site delivery team, and the various client/project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

You will be responsible for overseeing all associated contract negotiations and implementation of commercial risk mitigation strategies, as well as technical design and compliance, developing detailed construction methodologies and programmes, budget management and cost planning, and all client/stakeholder engagement.

You will be expected to effectively manage the respective financials and contractual compliance of all construction projects undertaken by the business, with working effectively in a strategic stakeholder interface.

Experience:

Comprehensive understanding of commercial contracts, and respective risk mitigation strategies and negotiation techniques
Extensive experience and understanding of largescale rock wall construction, civil and bulk earthworks processes, including design compliance, technical methodologies and programming
Experience working in client interface, including managing client expectations, negotiations, communications, and strategic engagement
Experience managing associated project financial functions and project budgets, including forecasting, cost reporting and budget tracking
