Meka Recruitment is working with a leading Timber distributor that services from Sunshine Coast to Gold Coast. Due to their growth and expansion, they are looking for Forklift Drivers that can add to their team on their Port of Brisbane Branch


The right people will be unloading and loading Timber to the trucks and doing general warehouse duties, such as preparing orders and making sure that the place is clean and tidy.


Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Loading and unloading trucks.
  • Preparing orders and replenishing goods as required.
  • Manual handling and heavy lifting up to 25 kgs.
  • Ensuring that the warehouse is kept tidy at all times.
  • Moving plasterboards around the warehouse or into the trucks.
  • Have a current forklift license.
  • Experience in operating up to 6 ton Forklifts is highly regarded.
  • Have experience working in a fastpaced production.
  • Be willing to work as part of a team or autonomously
  • Plenty of overtime available if desired.
  • Has a can do positive attitude.
  • Great time management skills and strong focus on safety.

Job Types:

Contract length: 12 months

Part-time hours: 38 per week


Salary:
From $65,000.00 per year
