Overall Responsibility:

The Logistics Supervisor Australia leads all logistics activities to support Maxeon's AU Partner/Customers network.

The responsibilities include the daily operations management of the 3PL provider for the provision of warehousing services and transportation, including last mile deliveries.

With the Freight Forwarders for Inbound containers (DAP/CIP/DDP), linehaul and to Project sites.

To ensure 3PL providers and freight forwarders execute to effective services at the best cost and quality in compliance with all safety and operational requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned):

Deliver logistics solutions to support the business:
Manage the day-to-day relationship with 3PL / forwarders to deliver outstanding services to customers in the ANZ region and achieve KPI:
Safety performance
On-Time Delivery (OTD) of customer orders; for delivery misses undertake root cause analysis; define and implement appropriate corrective action plans (3WI)
Cost objectives
Inventory targets
Quality objectives
Implement distribution setup for new products and new channels
Lead monthly / quarterly performance calls with vendors, opportunities for improvement and forward-looking activities.
Identify best in class vendors/partners.
Ensure compliance to SOX, specs and any other regulatory requirements relative to international freight, warehouse and transportation including Environmental, Health and Safety, Social responsibility


Lead the Continuous Improvement for Logistics Services:
Strong coordination with Partner Support Representatives, Planning and Scheduling, Sales & Global Supply Chain teams to ensure timely supply to meet customers' expectations whilst delivering the best cost solution
Drive simplification, standardization, and efficiency improvements
Project management of operation systems to improve the efficiency. Continue the digitalisation of warehouse & transport management systems (ERP, WMS, TMS, EDI/API)
Focused on developing/maintaining strategies to deliver cost reduction in Logistics Operations

Develop, implement, and maintain Operational policies and procedures to deliver a Quality Service Delivery solution - focused on reducing costs, streamlining procedures and Continuous improvement.

Work with global and regional peers for opportunities of standardization of processes and tools and share best practices


Skills and Attributes:

Hands-on experience in Logistics in a fast-paced business
Solutions driven leader, demonstrated experience in Operational Service delivery/execution
Vendor management (3PL) - Service delivery - warehouse ops and Last mile delivery, process improvement and problem resolution


Effective oral and written communication skills: ability to develop and deliver clear & concise messaging, presentations to management and other cross-functional teams
Solid analytical skills in assessing operational performance
Experience in Problem solving skills (RCA, 3WI & 5 Why's) to resolve common and complex operational issues
Project management delivery - ability to engage cross functional teams in various locations to deliver to the project objectives
Ability to work collaboratively within all levels of the organization
Lean Supply Chain certification is a plus


Experience and Requirements:

Supply Chain degree or equivalent experience required
3+ years' experience in 3PL/4PL roles or in similar Supply Chain businesses
Hybrid work arrangement, current Company policy is a minimum of 3 days/week in Maxeon Elsternwick office
Up to 25% domestic travel to warehouses and Partner/Customer sites and occasional international travel to other Maxeon offices
