The Opportunity:

We are working with a first-class real estate group, managing a high-quality Australian portfolio valued at over $20 billion.

Our client invests in Office, Retail, Industrial and Healthcare properties with a strong focus on development to generate future returns.


The Role:


Currently seeking an Assistant Property Manager to collaborate with the Property Manager and take responsibility for all financial and administration processes related to a portfolio of assets within the Commercial, Retail, Industrial and Healthcare sector.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Close liaison with the Portfolio and Property Managers, finance, and tenants to ensure quality delivery on a daytoday basis.
  • Maintain orderly lease admin & financial management procedures & property level reporting in accordance with relevant procedures.
  • Collate monthly reporting and cash flow budgets covering all items income and expenditure including relevant variance analysis and reforecasting conducted by management accountants.
  • Detailed understanding of cashflow analysis, modelling tools and accounting principles accrual accounting.
  • Ensure proper procedures for authorising payments, debt control, detailed reporting is followed.
  • Implement and assist with rent reviews as directed.

Key Attributes:


  • Bachelor's degree in property economics, business, commerce or similar.
  • 12 years' experience in property management, lease administration or accounts including budgeting and financial management (Commercial/Retail/Industrial sector preferred).
  • Working knowledge of building/facility services and real estate market activities, developments, and trends to assess possible implications on tenancy, financial and physical aspects.
  • Ability to interpret leases, licences, and similar legal documents.
  • Demonstrated experience liaising in a professional manner with external clients, the public, and at all levels of a business.
